Kundalini Caution

Newcomers to ORMUS often express the desire to get some of the "real thing"; the white powder of gold that will allow you to ascend. This idea probably arose out of David Hudson's emphasis on these concepts in his lectures and out of his description of the effects that one gentleman had when fasting and taking ORMUS. It is unfortunate that Hudson used the term "white powder gold" in his lectures since the material that Hudson supplied to people contained only about half a percent of ORMUS gold.

The gentleman who fasted for 43 days and had the kundalini awakening experience did not take any pure ORMUS gold during that period. Much later he took "very little" ORMUS gold for "not very long".

David Hudson stated that this gentleman was going through the "Egyptian Rite of Passage" which was a nine month process that started with a fast and ended with the person becoming a "light being":
"According to the "Secrets of the Golden Flower", it takes 10 lunar months, which happens to be the same as the Egyptian's said, 9 solar months, same time frame, but at the end of this, at the ninth month, he literally becomes a light being.  It's the breaking through of the cosmic egg, and he literally becomes a light being, capable of levitating and capable of bio-locating.  To literally disappear here and reappear someplace else."

In his 1995 Dallas lecture Hudson suggested that this gentleman would become a "light being" if he continued to take the powder for nine months. A July 27, 1996 interview with this gentleman revealed that he started the fast "About two years ago". At the time of the interview he said "I still take material but I don't take it in that volume". He also admitted that he had not bio-located.

Despite these facts, David Hudson continued to imply that ingesting the white powder for nine months, after a forty day fast, would enable one to have some sort of ultimate transcendent experience. Hudson continued to imply this as late as his 1999 lecture in Dallas. When asked what had happened to the gentleman who had done the fast he said something to the effect that the gentleman had quit taking the material before the nine months were up.

Here are a few problems that I see might arise from some of these misconceptions:

People might think that a forty day fast while ingesting the m-state materials will inevitably lead to "enlightenment" or "ascension". There is no evidence that this is true. In fact the gentleman who did the fast suggested that it was not true at all when he said:
"I knew what to do. But there are very, very few people who do. This takes place internally. It's an active process. You're not going to sit there and have this zip through you and all of the sudden these wonderful things are there. It can't be that way. That's not the way the circuit is set up in your system. Your chakras and realizations are not built that way. Nothing is built that way. And to expect something outside of that is absolute foolishness."

People often mistake the signposts of psychic powers and kundalini awakening for the destination. In a sense, there is no destination since this implies an end of change. If someone gets to a psychic or kundalini awakened space and hangs there, then they are clinging to the signpost and will not be able to proceed on the road as long as they are attached to the signpost.

A kundalini awakened American engineer named Gary, in a private posts to me, described one of the greatest dangers of mistaking the signpost for the destination:
"Hudson's mind is not open to new ideas at this point, and he will stay like that for some time. Some of his associates can even be described as quite hostile towards my article, like the ORMEs-consumer interviewed on the moderated forum.  Kundalini amplifies arrogance, just like everything else, and I find I still have problems with it myself, despite 7 years of steady work on it.  One day, they will see it truly though."

This "arrogance" is something that might reasonably be seen as a correlate of the development of psychic "powers" in advance of an expansion of one's heart in love. I see love as the connecting factor in All That Is. It is the universal quantum coherent glue, which binds us all together.

I am sure that each of us can think of someone who has attained kundalini awakening or psychic powers yet her or his behavior remains aggressive and disrespectful. Both psychic abilities and kundalini awakening can be seen by the individual who achieves them as validation of their personal power to attract what they want. Their ego may be fed by these things but their love often suffers.

Despite his awareness of the problems associated with arrogance and kundalini awakening Gary wrote me the following in a note just before he died on July 4, 1998:
"I have nearly completed my preparations, to make a personal physical transformation. Nothing quite like this has ever been done before, throughout the history of all past ages of man upon this planet, thus success is by no means assured. But, these are times without precedent, and when much is at stake, the risks and costs are correspondingly high.

However, if like Jacob, I prevail with God, there will be a sign in the sky, beginning during that night separating July 3rd and 4th. The heavens shall then become red, like a refiner's fire, and you may safely watch this with everyone else.

If this takes place, it will be explained as the Earth unexpectedly encountering and passing through a cloud of energetically ionized krypton gas; such is to be acknowledged, but is only a small, ancillary physical-level effect, and hardly the First Cause. I will meet with you thereafter."

I have seen a few instances where ego has become inflated after the ingestion of single ORMUS elements (usually m-gold). In fact, this may be the single most distinctive ill effect of the ingestion of these materials (though it only happens very rarely). One time when I was caught up in figuring out how to deal with the problems that this effect can trigger I got an email out of the blue from a woman who had read a post from a mutual friend about ORMUS. I think that she may have picked up on the problem and had a dream which clarified it (edited a bit for brevity and clarity):

I had an interesting dream about the ORMUS particles, last night - since I don't know anything about them (a friend only mentioned that he had been using them), I don't know if this info is 'off', but I thought you might like to read it...let me know what you think.

First, I had a dream about the ORMUS crystals (rainbows) weightlessly floating into space after I held them in my hand...that made me ask for more info on them in my next dream...this is what I got:
 
The ORMUS 'essences' (there were different 'colors' available) make us aware of particular 'universal' character traits. These individual colors that I saw all had their own individual vibration or energy field which looked like that of a singing bowl...the lower the ORMUS was held (or the lower the energy) the bigger the energy field would be.
 
These individual ORMUS colors (once the essence was 'activated' - like a genie in a bottle) built up an influential field of a particular character trait - and the more you focused upon it, the more influential it became - it eventually would grow out of proportion this way and become dangerous since you could lose your sense of 'self' in this way.
 
The essence 'red' was represented by a red woman and produced an energy field of all kinds of feminine traits like 'sexual femininity,...etc...' could have (my mom, who came in contact with this essence in my dream, was suddenly mad at me, she was drunk and totally frustrated...I was scared because she was so mad she could have killed me - she was totally influenced by her own feminine side that scared her)...
 
The essence 'green' was about the vibration of being 'fearless' - it was represented by a paradise bird who seemed to have a genetic defect - he always bumped into everything and hurt himself (because he was not afraid of bumping into something)
 
There was also 'yellow',...and more but I could not remember what these did. All essences had their particular sound and smell...very artificial.
 
My dad was able to 'keep the essences safe', because he did not let himself get overly influenced by the energy fields. But any 'weak' character with control issues would have gotten in big trouble with the ORMUS essences.
 
The essences had their own 'life' and wanted to go out into the world and free themselves from a particular usage by one person. They would go out into the world and everyone they come in contact with would easily be influenced by their particular vibration - these people would focus even more on that character trait and eventually everything would get blown out of proportion - I saw there was a huge potential for psychological problems among ego-driven people if this would happen.
 
It was about a multiplication and distortion of generally 'good' qualities, but they were seen without 'context' - without the other ORMUS qualities. It felt as if they were meant to be 'rainbow' ORMUS crystals and some idiot had broken them down into separate colors. The 'rainbows' were not harmful, because they held a healthy balance in context with the whole spectrum of the rainbow - the individual colors were simply missing all other colors of the rainbow....THAT was dangerous.
 
I saw that there was one particular type of ORMUS which brought everyone into focusing on spirituality...but when it was used for a longer period it made everyone OUT OF PROPORTION HOLY - or spiritual...had a very 'cultish' feeling.
 
The key with the ORMUS was to be able to integrate all the individual vibrational aspects (all colors of the rainbow) in life. The ORMUS with broken-down colors can be very dangerous for unexperienced people wanting to 'control' . For them, ORMUS would be like a drug.

You had to be able to address the issues which were brought to vibrate within you through the ORMUS in order to keep the experience safe for you...
 
ORMUS seemed to be more like an energetic 'training tool', not a daily activity of activating the particular energetic fields - since it generated too much energy for most people to deal with.

The 'holiness' ORMUS seemed like it could easily be misused by churches, because it tends to make you think that you are 'infallible' (is that the correct word?)
 
So generally, with the ORMUS, a sense for the 'right proportion of things' is easily lost when you are not in contact with your soul - with 'who you are' (love, light) - sadly enough, these 'super-powers' are mostly desired by ego-driven people who lack the understanding of being LOVE.
 
Since the ORMUS crystals have a 'mind' of their own, they need to be contained and 'de-activated' when they are not used for training purposes. If they stay activated in the world, their energy field grows too large so it's too much for most people to handle (for those who are not in touch with 'who they are' - or with the concept of unconditional 'love').
 
It's almost as if the ORMUS is meant to hold an 'archetypical vibration' in all the rainbow colors for humankind - it is not meant for ingestion, not meant for people to be misused so they 'become the particular archetype'...archetypes are 'guidelines' with very high energy, I guess...

The crystals are only here in it's pure rainbow form to hold a certain important vibration for humankind. Nothing more nothing less.

At first I wondered what Manuela meant when she referred to the rainbow colors of ORMUS, then I realized that her dream imagery was probably translating the various ORMUS elements into colors. I remembered a chart, a couple of us made up a few years ago, which compared some of the ORMUS elements to colors, chakras and the churches in the book of Revelation. You can see this chart at:

I suspect that her comment about how "ORMUS is meant to hold an 'archetypical vibration' in all the rainbow colors for humankind" means that the individual ORMUS elements (or colors as she puts it) should be ingested in their natural mix rather than as single elements. From my experience with vitamins over the years I have learned that it is better to take the vitamins in complexes with excipients (naturally occurring associated nutrients) rather than alone.

As the world learns about ORMUS we will start to use it on the plants we grow for food. When this happens we may find that food itself is the best source for the rainbow spectrum of ORMUS intake.

I posted Manuela's dream to several of the ORMUS email lists and got the following response from Sharon Rose (edited a bit for brevity and clarity):

I concur that the image of 'rainbow' is one that I connected with early in my ORMUS experience. I also believe from personal experience that too much of one kind of ORMUS is not desirable. I do not think that 100% strictly gold ORMUS should ever be used. The Ancients did not have the ability to isolate pure gold to the degree that we do today. I have a strong sense that the interplay between different types of ORMUS is important. Using the image of different colors of the rainbow, each color has it's opposite or complementary color. Where in nature is one type of ORMUS to be found? There are many different minerals in some type of balance in salt.

Manuela sounds perhaps a bit alarmist to me with over tones of fear, but I think there is some measure of truth in her cautions.

It is becoming more and more apparent that the ingestion, of certain allegedly powerful forms of ORMUS, does not confer consistent benefits. Though it may enhance some psychic abilities it apparently does not ensure that these psychic abilities can be used to sense when a person has crossed the line with ego.

One of the biggest thing that I have noticed from ingesting ORMUS for the last eight years is that it hastens and amplifies whatever we put our attention on. If someone puts their attention on what they fear then it brings in scary things; if they put their attention on love it brings more connection into their life.

Most of us (me included) alternate between putting our attention on what we do not want and putting our attention on what we do want. Quite often we even define what we want in terms of what we don't want.

For example, a person may want psychic abilities because they represent power. They want power because they feel that they are powerless in their ordinary life. Thus the desire for psychic abilities resonates with getting more feelings of powerlessness. In this context I can see why we see the people who desire psychic abilities becoming more and more frantic as their ideas are challenged.

Right now I am learning that I really enjoy fixing things. Being able to fix things gives me a sense of power but in order to regularly fix things, things need to regularly break. I am learning balance in this way. I am learning to let go and let some things fix themselves.

Sometimes I get frustrated in this ORMUS work. I can see ten times more things to do than I have time to do. I forget to take time to do other things I enjoy. This is why I was so happy to see the post from Manuela in my inbox. Manuela took the time to write out her dream and sent it too me just when it would be most appropriate. Even though this was her first private post to me, it perfectly fit with the situation. Even though she knew nothing of what was happening on the WhiteGold list her post said the things that I was longing to say but did not have the words at the time.

Another person on one of the ORMUS email lists posted the following (edited a bit for brevity and clarity):

Barry, thank you very much for posting Manuela's dream. You know that I am very careful about dreams and psychic phenomena, but I could not pick a hole
in that one. It expressed very well some wordless stirrings I had in my soul about this subject.

Manuela's dream explains a lot. Yes people can have emotional explosions from these substances and can say all manner of things in the early months. When I first took it, my wife complained of my impatience and harshness. I explained two things to her, first that I had always had those tendencies and they had been subdued in recent years by illness and pain, second that ormus brought so much relief and healing to me that I came back to life like a bull out of a chute. (I try to keep my horns in my back pocket now.)

Then when she took it, she had her own emotional blowouts at me, but I was ready, so much so that I had even warned her it would happen. There appear to be a few folks here who have recently taken ormus and are having such effects.

There are others here who are in for some hard knocks and rude awakenings.

And lastly, I am in total agreement with the amount of care and caution that Barry uses in disseminating this information, for the record, and for my own reasons. What you want, what you need, you will find in good time.

Thank you for sending me some of the responses to my dream. I am glad it made sense to you and a few others since I really thought this was almost a 'too weird to be true'  dream - again, I don't know anything about the ORMUS stuff :)

But I trust that love has a way of balancing everything and maybe that was the reason why I was led to dream this dream and to send it to you.

Sorry about the wrong spelling - I am German so I still fall prey (or should I say 'pray' *giggle*?)to grammar errors at times ;) Good to know that I am not perfect, but human.
 
And this is what I want to add to the discussion if you would like to forward this to the list as well.

The 'rainbow' crystals I saw looked kind of like clear quartz crystals or diamonds which reflected the light in rainbow colors...the ORMUS itself contained the whole spectrum of 'light' and was clear - I called it 'rainbow' because it somehow made sense to me at the time.
 
Now, to me, it felt as if it was only getting 'scary' whenever people were using specific colors of ORMUS (one color disconnected from the whole spectrum of light)  - I myself would interpret this as an egotistical wish to be able to see oneself out of context and disconnected from ALL THAT IS.
 
The truth is: We are all ONE and we all should make it our goal to use our individual wisdom and work 'together' and not 'against each other'. Our planet is a beautiful place to experience life - let's make it a loving and fun experience and leave the spectrum of light 'whole'....as well as remembering that we are already 'whole' ourselves - fantastic, brilliant beings of light -'rainbow' beings connected to each other if you might want to call it that way :o)

Another kundalini awakened colleague who is both a scientist and a mystic wrote the following after having some kundalini experiences triggered by m-state materials:
"The contacts that I have been getting from Gary have only intensified over the last few days, as I shared with you today.  I feel there is a strong message here for all ORMUS seekers.

Far from everyone's expectations, the ORMUS material may end up addicting if used carelessly and more "binding" rather than "liberating". It does not, in fact, produce any "release" from the cycle of birth-and-death.  It only lifts what is normally dense - our embodiment, our mental and habitual tendencies - up to a notch, to what is less dense, or more subtle.

The subtle qualities, as for example a kundalini arousal, a samadhi, or even a psychic faculty, are often aspired by everyone as indicative of "attainment".  This could not be farther from truth.  The Truth embodies everything, the subtle, the dense, and even nothing whatsoever.  What is more dense - our reality - is not, in fact, one iota farther away from Truth, nor is the subtle any closer.

"Going into the light" means going into another realm of phenomena, however subtle it may be.  In this regard it is still a realm of illusion. It has not, in fact, transcended birth-and-decay.

Even the complete destruction of ego, as Gary was often fond of saying, does not mean complete liberation.  For, in the end, all of us still hold to a dharma, a truth, something to be expounded, a view.  True liberation, the transcendence of it all, comes only when even the subtle views that we have of enlightenment, of each other, of a Truth however Universal it may seem, e.g., all this garbage that is our reality solidified, can be completely relinquished.

By grasping so firmly onto fine points that discriminate this hypothetical versus some other hypothetical, one clearly demonstrates that in the end there is still a view, something that needs to be explained, some theory to be explored, some truth to be shared, some attachment that needs to be severed.

This is all being written in fact for Gary's benefit and for anyone who thinks that ORMUS can bring short cuts."

Here is a final caution about this from another gentleman who has been described as a "master alchemist":
"Traditionally alchemists spent years preparing their students mentally for the internal application of such substances. Meditation, intellectual apprehension of divine process, a strict moral code and a deep understanding of self and the magickal nature of human relationships were considered necessary pre-requisites. I know from much personal experience that high end metallic preparations open ones mind to a vision of the true nature of reality very quickly. Most aspirants starting out on a spiritual path think this would be great - thinking that this process simply involves 'knowing cool stuff'. But the sad fact is that the Truth hurts, and the average seeker quickly discovers that they don't want the Truth and the "responsibility" that comes with it. Knowing the truth means acting in accordance with it or suffering the dreadful consequences. Until you understand how far away the average persons behaviours are from being productive - in line with the Truth - it is almost impossible to understand what I am suggesting here. In most cases arrogance will force persons forward and will have them taking powerful elixirs that in the last analysis will prove to be poisons for their unprepared systems.

Alchemists did not just die from inhaling mercury fumes, or from lead poisoning. They also died from taking the actual Elixirs and the Stone itself ... because they were not sufficiently prepared."
