Contrast

"Perfect" implies "changeless". It implies "finished". We generally apply such terms to unliving structures like rocks or mummies.

Which image do you think is most interesting and creative?

Name a memorable movie or play in which nothing difficult, adverse or negative happened. Now name a memorable movie or play in which difficult, adverse or negative events inspired a heart warming resolution.

In both of these examples, it is easy to see that contrast is the basis of creation. Anything new requires contrast as the impetus for creation. If we define duality as contrast it may be easier to see it's value.
