Contrast
Two angels with harps and halos and wings are sitting on a cloud. One
of them turns to the other and says: "you mean this goes on FOREVER?"
"Perfect" implies "changeless". It implies "finished". We generally
apply such terms to unliving structures like rocks or mummies.
The color "white" contains all of the colors in an undifferentiated

The next image uses many colors and explores the use of contrast:

Which image do you think is most interesting and creative?
Name a memorable movie or play in which nothing difficult, adverse or
negative happened. Now name a memorable movie or play in which
difficult, adverse or negative events inspired a heart warming
resolution.
In both of these examples, it is easy to see that contrast is the basis
of creation. Anything new requires contrast as the impetus for
creation. If we define duality as contrast it may be easier to see it's
value.
