ORMUS and Fig Tree

A little over a month ago, I bought a fig tree from my local grocer. It
was about 5 feet tall (my height), and was packed in a one gallon,
black landscaper's container....the cheap kind with the holes on the
bottom!
I couldn't put it in the ground right away, and it sat outside for
about a week and half before I was FORCED to put it in the ground.
We had HORRIBLE heat during this time, and no matter how much I watered
it, I couldn't keep it hydrated enough and it became terribly stressed.
It dropped all the figs it had on it (about a dozen or so) and all but
five leaves...the whole thing was COVERED with leaves and looked
beautiful! The five that were left were sun-scorched. Needless to say,
I was saddened and felt pretty guilty over this.
So, I planted it in the ground about 3 weeks ago, where it sat and
soaked up the water and rain. No new leaves, no nothing for over a
week. I had about 2 ounces of ormus that was sitting in my kitchen, so
I decided to give it to my poor little fig tree. I could kick myself
for not taking pictures, but I honestly did not think it would explode
with leaves overnight the way that it did.
I woke up the next morning to find the tops of both stems FULL of new
leaves shooting out. Every day since then, it has continued to grow and
produce leaves like crazy...in only 10 days, it's completely filled out
the tops and shot out new leaves on the two lower stems as well. So
today, I gave it a second dose and also took pictures to show everyone.
I don't know what to expect, but we'll all be witness to whatever
happens!
9/5/06 - 10 days after 1st dose of ORMUS
The leaves I'm holding are 2
of the ONLY 5 that were left
on the plant before putting in the ground. Notice sun-scorch.
9/5/06 - 10 days after 1st dose - bottom
Poor tree dropped all but 5 leaves....these are new
leaves, despite dead wood at the end of the branch.
9/5/06 - 10 days after 1st dose - bottom
New growth at the tip!!
9/5/06 - 10 days after 1st dose - side
See all of that green? NONE of it was there,
except 5 leaves...count them, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5!!
9/5/06 - 10 days after 1st dose - top
Closer view of growth that literally exploded overnight.
Look close, you can see old scorched leaves vs. new leaves.
